Bau-Xi Gallery’s new location is a story of transformation. Once a bustling textile factory originally built in 1955, this building has been carefully adapted into a modern hub for creativity. By embracing the factory’s industrial past, the architecture honors its heritage with exposed masonry walls, steel beams, period details, and soaring windows that flood the space with natural light. These original features are complemented by modern finishes, creating a unique dialogue between the old and the new.
Adaptive reuse is a sustainable approach to architecture, giving buildings like this a second life while preserving their character. This thoughtful transformation not only reduces waste but also adds depth and history to the gallery experience. Here, art and architecture come together to celebrate innovation and tradition. Come explore a space where the past inspires the present.
