Calvi Brambilla

Fabio Calvi and Paolo Brambilla are the main 2 partners, the studio was founded in 2006 and is based in Milan.

Fabio Calvi (1969) studied architecture in Milan and London. After collaborations with Gianfranco Frattini and Ferruccio Laviani, he opened his own studio in 2004.

Paolo Brambilla (1973) studied architecture in Milan and Barcelona. From 2005 to 2013 he teached Interior Design at the Polytechnic University of Milan. He was a Councilor of the Chambers of Architects of Milan from 2013 to 2017.

The studio mainly deals with interior design, exhibition design, furniture design and art direction.

The team is made up of 10 people, 4 composed by architects, interior designers and product designers.

The world of the project is investigated through a creative approach in which imagination matters as much as the functional rigor and control in all the implementation phases.

We define concepts that are consistent with the brief but unexpected at the same time.

Our belief is that there is a strong demand for physical experiences even if we are now in the digital communication era, or maybe because of that.
