With 50 years of experience, Capdell is a company created in 1967 in Valencia. Since the beginning, has long been associated with a specific production tradition: working primarily with woods to create beautiful, quality, hand finished designs.

The key change and desire to review and modify the offer and overall business strategy was born of two main desires; to become a significant brand within the World market and to enter this market at the top level of quality and contemporary design.

Since then, Capdell has worked rigorously in a number of directions: the constant development of the product range, advertising campaigns, new catalogues and most recently the significant expansion of the factory and investment into new cutting edge technology, in order to guarantee the precision and quality of the finished product and allow a more efficient redistribution of logistics.

Over the years, Capdell has revised and enriched their catalogue, introducing innovative new designs entrusted to international professionals of many disciplines. Most recently Francesc Rifé, Patrick Norguet, Mario Ruiz, Claesson Koivisto Rune, Carlos Tíscar, Fiorenzo Dorigo, Gabriel Teixidó, Lucy Kurrein, Marcel Sigel, Salvador Villalba, Kazuko Okamoto, Yonoh, Edeestudio o Rafa Ortega have all made significant contributions in producing exclusive new models for Capdell.

Capdell embrace beauty and precision but realise aesthetics mean nothing if they are not welded to performance. For this reason, all models are rigorously tested by the nationally recognised testing facility "Aidima". We ensure all of our products achieve level "5" before they are even brought to market.

This means the products you see within the collection, products that posses the subtle design, character and personality that make them ideal for the home are also entirely suitable for the intensive use of the contract market without having to forfeit any of their design nuances.

With a constant presence at the worlds leading furniture shows such as Salone del Mobile in Milán, Maison & Object, IMM Cologne, ICFF NY, International Furniture Fair in Valencia, 100% Design, Clerkenwell... It will continue working to produce “wood vibrations”.
