MAISON&OBJET reconfiguration of the Objet hub

×

The September 2017 event will mark the unveiling of the new Objet hub (halls 5A & 6): shaped around three major sectors, Cook&Share, Home&Fashion Accessories and Smart Gift. Thus unveiling a finer segmentation, bold strategic choices, at-a-glance overview of the offering, all contributing to a renewed retail experience. The reconfiguration of the objet hub needed to reflect the changes currently sweeping the retail business. The number of sectors within the Objet Hub has been reduced from five to three straightforward and cleverly divide-up areas. It was also crucial to rethink the circulation plan to enable visitors to explore new paths and make priceless discoveries. Marking the entry and exit of every sector, transition areas provide an overview of the sectors, spotlighting can’t-miss items on display and showing visitors the kind of discoveries to expect, for increased visit efficiency.

Comfort zone

At each edition of the trade show, the Observatoire de MAISON&OBJET defines a pioneering trend theme to inspire your imagination. In September, snuggle up in the COMFORT ZONE. Faced with a world of instability, in an environment where we don’t feel safe anymore, our desire for physical and mental tranquillity invites shapes to become more enveloping, reassuring and protective. Materials vie with each other to see which can be the softest, a palette of soft pastels and pale pinks washes away tensions and innovative new technologies serve the cause of well-being. This 100% feel good theme is presented in hall 7 in an exhibition designed by François Bernard, Agence Croisements. Be inspired!

It is high time to take on board the new parameters of how to live ‘the good life’ at home…
