Lumix

Lumix is a functional floor lamp. Light up a room or bathe it in a gentle, cozy light – Lumix is designed to create a variety of lighting scenarios. The bipartite lumiscent shade holds two bulbs which can be lit individually. Using the shade sensor dimmers Lumix can be transformed from a torchiere to a reading lamp within seconds. Two different shade materials make many lighting types possible. In the upper shade a metal ring can be covered with various textiles. The light is directed upward and becomes visible when reflected by the ceiling or the wall. The lower shade made of off-white cotton directs the light downward, creating a warm, homogeneous lighting.
