Kotemon Bldg.

This is a three-story building of steel structure existing Fukuoka, Japan. The site is long, narrow shape faces a main road. This building contains owner’s residence and atelier, and 2 tenants, wide 5m and depth 20m, there is a lighting court in the middle which there are all entrance gathered, and the approach to the entrance is the narrow passage between buildings. The wall material of cement formed plate for longer direction and aluminum sash for frontage, this composition makes tunnel space. This simple structure gives light rhythm to the street.
