The new Ulm sectional sofa collection o ers several possibilities, thus providing solutions to di erent settings.
The sofa, like the rest of the collection, provides strong and resistant structures as support of the soft elements which provide total comfort.
Concept
MATTER MATTERS Like a shell perfectly poised over the floor, Ramón Esteve achieves the Ulm Daybed’s design with refined and clean spherical geometry. Its circular form and grand scale adapt to each setting while its swivel feature permits it to effortlessly rotate on its axis. As with the rest of the Ulm collection, it is designed with the bare essential qualities of utility and function in mind, discarding all superfluous elements. Ramón Esteve Cambra | Architect and Designer. Valencia, 1964 Ramón Esteve founded Ramón Esteve Estudio de Arquitectura in 1991. Since then, he has worked on the fields of architecture and interior design as well as industrial design and art direction in Spain and abroad. Ramon Esteve’s portfolio includes wide expertise in public buildings such as health, educational and cultural facilities; private buildings for public use such as offices, hotels, restaurants, and pieces of ephemeral architecture; and exclusive single-family houses that are true pictures of his philosophy. In the field of product design and art direction, he has worked with recognised firms such as Vondom, Porcelanosa, Inclass, Vibia or Gandia Blasco. Harmony, serenity and essentiality are some of the constant features of his work and an announcement of his commitment to contribute more than simple buildings to the built environment. He has been awarded in the fields of architecture and industrial design. Recently he has won the COACV Awards Hounorable Mention in Architecture for Cottage in the VIneyard. In 2018 he was included as one of the most 100 Creative People in Bussiness by Forbes.
