Torus

In the factory that produces his prototypes, Umberto Bellardi Ricci sees for the first time the elbows of the ventilation ducts, joined in groups of four and wrapped in crossed ropes. They have a curious shape, similar to that of a donut, and become a source of great inspiration for him. He calls them torus and reinterprets them as the basis for these singular poufs with overlapping volumes, in which industrial materials find a new aesthetic and function alongside soft and refined finishes.
