Banu est un joyau supplémentaire provenant du jardin des rubis. Ainsi s‘appelait le palais du Maharadja d‘Indore pour lequel Eckart Muthesius avait conçu ce tabouret. Grâce à l‘utilisation d‘acier feuillard et à un processus de fabrication très élaboré, la structure semble façonnée d‘une seule pièce, quel que soit l‘angle d‘observation. Ce tabouret d‘une élégance raffinée décorait la salle de bains de la maharani. Une version légèrement transformée voyageait sur rails à travers l‘Inde – dans le pullman légendaire du maharadja.

Tabouret. Structure en acier inoxydable poli. Rembourrage : polyuréthane et ouate de polyester sur cadre en hêtre. Revêtement en cuir.

Banu is yet another gem from the Jewel Garden, which was the name of the Maharajah's palace of Indore for which Eckart Muthesius designed this stool. Through the use of polished stainless steel and a highly demanding working process, the frame appears, from all sides, to be made of a single piece. The exquisite, elegant stool decorated the bathroom of the Maharani. A slightly different version travelled on tracks through India- in the legendary saloon carriage of the Maharajah.
