Founded in 2012 by siblings Pia and Moritz, the company focuses on handmade production, working with craftsmen all over the world.

Their product portfolio is designed by Pia, combining the functional approach of design with the bespoke and unique nature of art. A passion for natural materials and handmade processes is the basis of each product made for Utopia & Utility.

Pia Wustenberg is a Product Designer with a background in materials and craft. She graduated from the Royal College of Arts in 2011 and has been running her own studio piadesign in East London since.

Moritz Wustenberg is a Biochemical Engineer specialised in environmental engineering and energy law. Moritz is the MD at Utopia and Utility, responsible for our finance, logistics and business affairs.
