Orama Minimal Frames was founded in 2013 and named after the Greek word for Vision (=όραμα). Today it is the leading Greek manufacturer—and one of the most important in the world—of bespoke glazing systems featuring exclusively slender aluminium profiles that can maintain the architects’ design intent—no matter how extreme or ambitious. The brilliant balancing act of analytic and artistic creativity required to implement a modern building project has inspired the design of Orama’s products and influenced the way the company collaborates with its customers. Every new design starts with a blank page. Together with its partners, Orama develops individual solutions for each architect, taking on design challenges and pioneering new products that translate their vision into reality. Architecture is no more just about designing pretty spaces. Access to nature has become essential with architects seeking to offer large openings, transparency, and flexibility in order to maximize the connection between interior spaces and their environment. With this in mind, the Orama Minimal Frames products—including the new Z° series—have been designed to offer seamless transitions between interior and outdoor spaces and excellent performance with guaranteed quality in installation. Orama works with an extensive international network of partners in over 40 countries. To date, it has completed successfully a wide range of prestigious projects, including the Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences in Dubai, an imposing building designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) with 43 floors, 2,700 windows, and 35,000 sqm of glass; The Bay Course Golf Club, Costa Navarino Bay, and the Navarino Waterfront buildings at Costa Navarino, the premier destination for luxury holidays in Greece, as well as various branded properties within the Costa Navarino Residences development, designed by Buerger Katsota Architects, ISV, K- Studio, Potiropoulos + Partners Architecture, Thymio Papayannis and Associates and AETER Architects. Orama has its headquarters in Loutraki, a coastal town on the Corinthian Gulf just 78km from Athens. With an experienced team of designers, engineers, researchers, and manufacturers, it implements projects of different types and scales, approaching every new challenge with creative energy and good collaboration, offering certainty in design and precision in construction.
