Sputnik

A T-8 flourescent tube pendant luminaire. In the early 70s the ring-shaped tube epitomised kitchen lighting. Today the technology of the somewhat clunky illuminant is refined. The lamps have become slender, more durable, their light efficiency higher and they can be dimmed using cut-in units. Sputnik is a new interpretation employing the time-tested illuminant and is not only designed for the kitchen but also for the office or the dining table.
