Midj

Midj is an Italian company founded in Cordovado in 1987. A family-run business that believes in the strength of its territory: the production of high-quality furnishing accessories is the result of a process that was born and developed in north east of Italy, where a unique know-how is present. For more than thirty years, passion and attention to detail have been the fundamental elements that inspire the creation of Midj products. The company not only produces, but thinks and designs thanks to the passion and creativity of its team.

Nelle collezioni che Midj realizza, ciò che viene continuamente ricercato è la trasversalità d’uso, realizzando modelli che rispondano indistintamente alle esigenze di ambienti pubblici e privati. Oggetti che possano essere destinati ad una sala da pranzo come ad un ufficio, ad una cucina come ad un ristorante. Creando una collezione, Midj ne esplora tutte le sue possibili declinazioni.

It is here that we find iconic collections such as Lea, which bears the unmistakable signature of Midj's founder and designer, Paolo Vernier: with its elegant and refined soft design, its simple and harmonious lines are the traits that unite all its declinations. Guapa and P47 collections, on the other hand, present an elaborate mesh, a distinctive feature of high craftsmanship and workmanship. Leather is synonymous with comfort and resistance, and with its geometries it creates suggestive plays of light and shadows. The first sofa collection is Area, which in 2021 won the Red Dot Design Award. The Clessidra fixed table, with its evocative name that stands for hourglass, won the German Design Award in 2021: certainly, does not go unnoticed thanks to its unique and eclectic design.
A close collaboration with internationally renowned designers has always led to the creation of products with a characteristic soft design: soft lines, made using different materials, are the basis of Midj's creative production.
