Concept
NIL, strictly speaking, is not a table, but a work of sculpture, inspired by the Tropical Modernism of the 1960s. Straight lines are replaced by organic curves, gently arched like the coronal aspirations of the Cathedral of Brasilia or the waves on the beach at Ipanema, their breaking mixed with the gentle rhythms of a bossa nova.
