TECHTEXTIL 2019 showcases textile innovations for architecture.

Our future is urban. But how textile will it be? TECHTEXTIL (14 – 17 May 2019) will be featuring an impressive special topic on the subject, entitled "Urban Living."

TECHTEXTIL, the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwoven fabrics, will be presenting the most recent developments and future trends in the field of textile technologies from 14 to 17 May 2019 in Frankfurt.

From 14 to 17 May 2019 international exhibitors will present a comprehensive overview of the spectrum of technical textiles and textile building materials at TECHTEXTIL, which takes place every two years in Frankfurt.

From 9 to 12 May 2017, TECHTEXTIL in Frankfurt am Main will provide an overview of the current state of textile architecture as well as future developments in the field.

Frankfurt's TECHTEXTIL fair runs from 9 to 12 May 2017, offering visitors exciting insights into the major advances in high-tech textiles.

The ‘Textile Structures for New Building’ competition for students is being held for the 14th time by Techtextil, International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens. Students of civil engineering, product design and related disciplines, as well as young professionals, are invited to enter their ideas for building with textiles or textile-reinforced materials. As in the past, the competition is sponsored by the international TensiNet network with cash prizes worth a total of € 8,000. The closing date for entries is 26 February 2017.

From 4 to 7 May 2015, Techtextil in Frankfurt will once again be throwing open its doors. The international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens will be showing all the relevant applications for these products – not only within the framework of industrial-manufacturing processes. If one looks at the possible applications of fabrics and films in architecture, then, besides classical facade and roof constructions, it is their use in connection with artificial or natural light in particular that is of increasing interest.
