About PLURAL

Profile

PLURAL was founded by Martin Jančok in 2009. Michal Janák joined in 2013. PLURAL’s current flagship project is the revitalization of the ne-ologic synagogue in Žilina designed by Peter Behrens, built in 1931, and its transformation into a contemporary exhibition space – Nová synagóga Kunsthalle. The project was awarded the Bauwelt Advancement Award 2013. Other recognized built projects include Alexis bookshop awarded the Slovak Chamber of Architects Prize CE-ZA-AR 2011 and the Summer Pavilion for the Slovak National Gallery awarded CE-ZA-AR 2012.
