Lapo Ruffi Architetti

Lapo Ruffi Architetti | LRA, was founded in 2016 by Lapo Ruffi and Vanessa Giandonati after ten years of collaborative research in architecture like individual architects, determined to focus their efforts on architectural research and experimentation. Moving along a continuous research on the meanings of living, places and matter, the studio works on large urban architectures to small solitary houses, participating in international competitions, including the first prize for Europan 9 in Italy and Europan 10 in Switzerland. His work has been featured at different exhibitions and has been published in a wide range of specialist literature.

LRA is specialized in public building, housing, urban planning and interior design. We are also active in the fields of research, scenarios, exhibition design and publishing. The office approach work is based on the analysis of a site in its natural or built state in order to identify the essentials elements that could enhance, preserve or qualify a site in dialogue with architecture.
