The Swiss group of companies was founded in Zurich in 1889 as a woodturning workshop and has developed into an internationally renowned manufacturer of seating furniture. At Girsberger, design and craftsmanship go hand in hand with state-of-the-art manufacturing methods. Today's product range includes high-quality furniture for offices, commercial properties and homes, customised furniture for specific properties, and the refurbishment and upcycling of used furniture (remanufacturing). The company's own timber trade for high-quality solid woods covers its own requirements on the one hand and supplies wood-processing companies on the other. Girsberger also has a presence outside Switzerland and Germany with sales companies in several European countries. Production takes place in Bützberg (Switzerland), Endingen (Germany) and Kraljevci (Serbia).
