Extendo is an Italian company specialized in the design and production of interior design units. All our products are 100% Made in Italy: fitted wall units and bookcases, walk-in wardrobes, tables, coffee tables and chairs.

The role that Extendo now plays in the interior design sector is the fruit of many years of experience accrued in this field by its three founders: Massimo Bianchi, Dario Maniezzo and Francesco Gallo. Extendo was born out of their creativity, their passion for Italian design and their technical know-how honed since the earliest years spent working.

The main objective of Extendo designs is to bring products to life with excellent functional content, interpreting everyday requirements in an innovative manner. Innovative furnishing designs coming to life thanks to an in-house design team that develops and refines the creative concept using mechanical design know-how to solve new fixtures or movements, fundamental peculiarities of a flexible product in space and time.

The designers pay particular attention to the choice of materials that can be used to manufacture the product. Raw material selection is part of every single project since its concept, often influencing the creative process necessary to develop the product. The evolution of each project leads to the creation of prototypes which, assembled in the work environment by the R&D team stimulates the refinement process that leads to the end product.

The R&D team, works with a careful eye to the continuous research on technology and materials innovation, and has developed new finishes that constitute a colour palette full of novelties: next to the shades of gray, natural materials such as solid wood and brass, and finishes that comes from nature like the eco-touch made of cork, linseed oil and jute. The finishes are available to all collections, and create a perfect harmony both in domestic and office environments.

The raw materials that constitute our products are derived from a recycling process, and are in turn recyclable. Whether it’s wood, glass, steel or another, the choice of raw materials is part of each and every design since its genesis. Our eco-friendly commitment is a key aspect of Extendo design and it completely shapes the creative process. The importance of carefully following the production and the choice of raw materials to ensure maximum quality is seen as vital and is entrusted to expert artisans. The company, therefore, even selects partner companies and suppliers with this in mind in order to guarantee such attention, not only in their own processes, but throughout the entire production chain.

The entire production takes place at virtually “0” km from the headquarters at Trebaseleghe (PD), within a radius of around 10 km. This helps avoid the pollution resulting from the transport of materials and guarantees a product free from extra costs.

The energy used for the production of 90% of our products is derived from renewable self-produced energy.

All Extendo products have a European patent and are exclusive to Extendo Ltd.

Extendo is currently found in over 50 showrooms in Italy and in several retail outlets abroad, to name but a few: Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Monaco, Singapore, New York.
