Three different units with different heights and inclination angles of the backrest are the modules for Surfer Sofa. Rolling curves form troughs and crests. The mellow shapes are covered in a woollen fabric woven in a unique way. The modules can be arranged to be used as single lounge chairs, or set together to form a landscape – or rather a seascape. The changing heights correspond to different scenarios of using Surfer Sofa – from lying at home, reading or watching television, to reclining at a cocktail party or in a hotel lobby or to sit upright, having a coffee and a chat with guests.
