Discover emerging trends, explore the latest collections and connect with some of the most influential names in the industry at the Middle East’s only trade fair dedicated to original, high-quality design.

The principal annual meeting point for the regional and international design industry, Downtown Design will present its sixth edition from 13-16 November 2018. The fair’s biggest and most ambitious showcase to date, the fair will feature over 175 contemporary brands alongside 40 regional designers -the largest ever curation of Middle Eastern talent.

A new fair section, Downtown Editions will present limited-edition and bespoke works from around the world, with a focus on regional designers.

Downtown Design’s stellar talks programme will present 25 global design leaders on one stage in Dubai. Award-winning international designers Marc Ange, Ini Archibong, Matthew McCormick and Martyn Lawrence Bullard, among others, will be joined by the region's most important developers and design firms to discuss topics critical to the architecture and interior design industries.

Six large-scale installations will bring the brightest design talent together in Dubai. These include an Emirati collaboration with Lasvit and the award-winning installation, ‘Breath of Light’ by Preciosa that makes its regional debut at the fair.

Design professionals can avail special privileges at the fair alongside networking with industry leaders and decision makers, through the Trade Programme, a tailor-made platform curated for industry members to access commercial prospects in the region and beyond.

The fair’s theme of 'Liveable Cities' reflects in the fair's masterplan and will feature bespoke café concepts, a pop-up retail destination and indoor landscaped gardens. This new blueprint marks a fresh creative direction for the fair that annually presents the best of contemporary design at the region's creative hub, Dubai Design District.
