Lontoonkatu 9 in Helsinki is a residential building for 72 apartments, built by one of the largest private property developer in Finland - Oy Sato. The idea of Architect Kirsi Korhonen ist to produce refracted light for homes, penetrate the openings in the facade like tree leaves, by the sun's rays. All facade elements simultaneously take on the function of balcony railings and balustrades.
