The office and showroom project for EGE Carpets in Bielefeld creates an open, flexible workspace accommodating approximately 50 workstations while connecting production, administration, and presentation areas. The goal was to design an environment that visually and functionally conveys EGE’s sustainable corporate philosophy. The design concept emphasizes transparency, communication, and adaptability.
The spatial arrangement deliberately avoids traditional cellular offices, favoring zoned work islands and shared meeting areas. Multifunctional spaces support both team collaboration and focused work. Modular furniture and storage solutions, particularly WINEA FLOW workstations and WINEA MAXX cabinet and locker systems, allow different work requirements to be integrated flexibly. Conference tables and agile tiered seating elements further structure the space into dynamic zones, promoting open communication.
Material and color choices were carefully considered to reinforce EGE’s corporate identity while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Furniture surfaces and cabinet colors are understated, elegant, and timeless, while the modular structure ensures adaptability to future needs.
A central feature of the project is the combination of sustainability, flexibility, and design quality. The furniture follows a clear principle: modularity, durability, and visual coherence. This makes the office functional as well as identity-defining for the company. The integration of communication areas, retreat spaces, and presentation zones creates an environment that makes the EGE brand tangible while optimally supporting daily work processes.
This project demonstrates how modern office architecture and modular furniture concepts can collaborate to create a workspace that embodies both visual identity and functional future-readiness.
