Strato was established in 1987 by Gianna Farina and Marco Gorini as an interior design company.

In 1990 the love for food and cooking led Gianna and Marco to create their own tailor-made kitchens. The use of unique materials, their distinct quality, style and design, as well as continuous research into technical solutions and hand-made finishing, constitute a fresh interpretation in kitchen design. Our projects are in Austria, Belgium, China, England, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Jakarta, Japan, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Mexico, Monaco, Morocco, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United States, Uruguay.

Our long experience, the passion and the care for detail and the unique working techniques developed by Marco Gorini allow us to create sophisticated and unique objects in any shape and size and to combine different materials, such as stone, marble, wood, titanium, matt or polished st.steel, bronze, copper, black st.steel and many others. Strato has acquired a technique in the use of tools and materials which may be considered complete and just as remarkable as a musician’s mastery of his instrument.
