WAD31 Art Déco Wall lamp

Wall lights from Tecnolumen

Product description

The designer of this wall lamp, created in France around 1930, is unknown, but he surely belonged to the circle around the Union des Artistes Modernes (UAM) in Paris, from whence the original has come down to us.
The esthetic coolness of the materials, chrome and glass, chosen with both the function of the lamp and above all the decoration of the wall in mind, has been employed by many designersof Art Déco objects. The lamp consists of a nickel silver polished or aluminum white painted quarter sphere and six perpendicular glass plates with finely ground edges attached to the lower part of the lamp. The light issues from above, illuminating the wall and ceiling. A weak, diffuse light is deflected downward through the slots and glass plates.

Material: Polished nickel silver or Aluminium lacquered white
Socket: E 27, max. HAL 60 W
