Product description

Concept

This side table is made of two folded planes showing differing material strength. Their relationship is resolved where they meet. They lose their full autonomy being interlocked, unable to exist without each other.
The organisation of the columns intensifies their mutual dependency. Three independent rows of columns let the folds float above ground. Either intervention has its own rhythm. Furthermore, they differ in numbers, diameter and x/y/z-orientation. Even the penetration of the fold is of importance. In one case the columns are even with the plane. The second row of columns protrudes and the third singular one cuts diagonally through space. Either system got over its solely serving function to “support” and manifests its own identity.
