Pipistrello 50 anni gold plated

Designed in the 1965 by Gae Aulenti for Martinelli Luce, the lamp in the 2015 celebrates 50 years, for this event a version was made, a limited series, the GOLD version 24k.

The lamp pipistrello is realized with moulding techniques of methacrylate diffuser that were innovative for that time in which the lamp has been designed. The shape of the elusive conical base grows upward widening in the ribs of the shade as the unfolding of the bat wings. 
Leaning on a table or a floor, this lamp characterizes with its expressive force any environment.
