The Inuit Daybed takes its name from its original design in Greenlandic sealskin cover. However the daybed is available in other fabrics and leathers.
Always with a global outlook, Gubi Olsen, founder of Gubi, has created his own unique post-modernistic expression. The inspiration comes from the rich Danish traditions of craft and furniture production, mixed with historical and visual references, such as French cinema, Napoleon Bonaparte and a grand piano.
MATERIAL
The Inuit has a wooden frame and a mattress of polyurethane foam. The cover is made of Greenland sealskin of the highest quality, the pillow is made of black aniline leather. The legs are made of solid oak or aluminium.
COLOUR
Available in a wide range of leathers and fabrics. The daybed comes with legs in solid polished oak or aluminium.
