A lamp that stays unobtrusive.
A small room can be made to seem larger by light which is flooded across its walls. Ypsilon makes use of this phenomenon and illuminates a room or a wall both vertically and horizontally. The slim body of the lamp is hardly noticeable and unfolds its effect only when it is in operation. The built-in dimmer enables it to be regulated in a range from bright ambient illumination to cosy mood lighting. The Y-shaped aluminium lamp was designed by Hannes Wettstein in 1999, and then subtly redesigned by Studio Hannes Wettstein in 2011. Ypsilon is energy-saving and available in different colours.
