Bisazza opens its first flagship store in Antwerp on 4 December

Like all the shops operated by the luxury brand Bisazza ,this new store in Antwerp was designed by architect Carlo Dal Bianco, head of the Bisazza Design Studio. The ambience expresses the typical Bisazza style, uniting the beauty of the mosaics with contemporary design and displaying Bisazza's range of decorative patterns in various colour variations throughout a series of interconnected rooms. The store is over 120 square metres in size, with a view of the 35 m² inner courtyard.

On the evening of the opening the guests of honour were the Dutch designer duo Studio Job: two of the sculptures which they designed for the Bisazza Limited Editions collection - Candle holder and Cake platter – will be on view in the new store until the end of January.

The common denominator for all the flagship stores is the Bisazza Home collection, which was created for Bisazza by international designers such as Patricia Urquiola, Marcel Wanders, Studio Job, Jaime Hayon and Jürgen Mayer H. The furniture and furnishings in the collection, in which the mosaics are combined with other materials, are intended to supplement the Bisazza range of interior decoration.

The Bisazza flagship stores, which have been established with the aim of reinforcing the image and identity of the company at the international level, are located in the world's design capitals: Barcelona, Berlin, London, Los Angeles, Milan, New York, Paris, Rome, Moscow, and now since December Antwerp, to be followed by Tokyo in February 2009.
