Only the gnarled old pine trees and the blood-red foliage of the picturesque maple trees had to be imagined. But even without them, the inspiration for GROHE's fair stand at ISH 2025 was quickly recognised: the perfect Japanese moss garden, lined with ankle-deep pools of water. Here and there, a waterfall trickled lightly from the recessed walls. GROHE's message was clear: this temple of regeneration was dedicated to progress in harmony with nature, which gives us its precious commodity and the ‘pure joy of water’. What this meant could be explored behind the dark blue gauze of the impressive pavilion.
Word quickly spread that GROHE had a foam shower on show. It's called Purefoam and can be effortlessly integrated into any existing shower with a thermostat. The company’s own liquid soap, which is available in five scents – from ‘Citrus Awakening’ to ‘Waterlily Bliss’ – is placed into a holder. At the touch of a button, warm foam is dispensed, enveloping the user like a cocoon. It's pretty astonishing!

Clever technology behind the scenes

But this was far from the only innovation that GROHE presented in Frankfurt. Aiming for resource efficiency, the sanitary brand presented two technologies that primarily fulfil their purpose behind the wall. For example, the GROHE Rapido Heat Recovery shower system pumps the water, which is still warm, from the drain through a separate pipe surrounded by the cold water supply. This form of heat recovery reduces hot water consumption and therefore costs and emissions.

Especially in times of increasing water scarcity, a system like this has a promising future

Even more efficient in terms of saving is the GROHE Everstream water-recycling shower. Here, the water is collected, hygienically treated, reheated and reused. Especially in times of increasing water scarcity, a system like this, which uses only a quarter of the water and a third of the energy of a conventional shower, has a promising future.

Individual statements

GROHE also delivered in terms of design. Two highlights from the premium sub brand GROHE SPA stand out. One is the Icon 3D collection, which, as the name suggests, is 3D metal-printed. Unique to this collection are the mimetic rain showers, reminiscent of delicate flower clusters. And then, there are the Allure Gravity mixer fittings, with their floating, weightless appearance. The fittings effectively combine decorative panels made of glass or quartz with chrome and additional shades from the GROHE Colours Collection. GROHE Allure Gravity is also available in the new Satin Steel and Satin Graphite colors.
