With the introduction of the Interior Design & Architecture Hub in Hall 3.1, Ambiente signals a thoughtful expansion: a dedicated space that recognises the growing need for dialogue, context and interdisciplinary exchange within the design community. At its centre is the work of Katty Schiebeck, whose scenographic sensibility brings a fresh sense of cohesion to the fair’s increasingly broad offering.

In an era where hospitality environments aspire to feel more intimate and multisensory, Schiebeck's staging creates a space where these evolving expectations can be experienced rather than merely discussed

Schiebeck’s approach – rooted in atmospheric precision and a nuanced reading of materials – provides the Hub with an identity that feels both focused and inviting. By integrating exhibitor products from the Interior Design and HoReCa segments into her concept, she draws a subtle but meaningful connection between residential comfort and commercial durability. In an era where hospitality environments aspire to feel more intimate and multisensory, her staging creates a space where these evolving expectations can be experienced rather than merely discussed.
Complementing the Hub, the 'At the table with nature materials' showcase, which was developed with Healthy Materials Lab Europe, demonstrates the industry’s shifting attention toward healthier, more sustainable material choices. It serves as a reminder that the aesthetics of tomorrow’s interiors will increasingly be shaped by responsible material intelligence.
The integrated Academy, supported by partners including World Architects, Office Roxx, and the ECIA, adds a robust educational dimension. Highlights such as the Architect Days, the ECIA sessions and the guided Designer Tours across Halls 3.1 and 11.0 offer visitors structured insights into key hospitality and contract trends. These knowledge programmes underscore the fair’s ambition to foster not just product discovery, but informed design culture.
The result is a new anchor point within Ambiente: one that blends inspiration, expertise and material awareness into a cohesive, future-forward experience for the design professions.
