Antwerp, 12 June 2025, circular design studio ecoBirdy, known for its sustainable and socially conscious approach to furniture, is proud to unveil its new designs: the Marine Collection, a three- piece series of home accessories featuring the Marine Coat Rack, Marine Mirror, and Marine Side Table Set.
Inspired by the fluid forms of ocean shorelines and the dynamic energy of the Port of Antwerp, the Marine Collection captures the spirit of coastal life with an elegant, organic aesthetic. Each piece depicts natural water landscapes, evoking islands, tidal lines, and the gentle curves of the sea, bringing a calming sense of flow and connection into the interior.
Designed with versatility and creative self-expression in mind, the Marine pieces adapt effortlessly to diverse living environments. Reversible components, asymmetrical shapes, and adaptable mounting options encourage personal interpretation, allowing each user to arrange the pieces to suit their space and style.
The collection fits well into both professional spaces and vibrant family interiors. Each piece stands strong on its own as a design statement, or can be configured in multiples to create dynamic, continuously evolving arrangements that respond to the needs of the space.
Crafted from ecoBirdy’s signature recycled material ecothylene® and guided by the brand’s commitment to circular design, the Marine Collection continues to advance the dialogue between sustainability and contemporary living.
The collection
Marine Coat RackThe Marine Coat Rack is a sculptural, wall-mounted piece that combines function and form. With its fluid, organic curves, it brings a distinctive presence to the wall while maintaining a clean, organized appearance. Designed to serve as both a coat rack and a shelf, it offers space to store and display everyday essentials like coats, bags, books, records, wallets, and small plants.
Ingeniously reversible, the rack can be mounted in two orientations. Each side features three hooks and a platform, allowing for versatile use and styling. Multiple units can be combined to create configurations that adapt to various spaces and extended needs.
Marine Mirror
The Marine Mirror turns a functional everyday object into a sculptural focal point and art piece. With its curvy, shoreline-inspired shape, it brings a natural softness to walls, offering more than just reflection. Its playful asymmetry invites creative placement, enhancing small spaces, brightening hallways, or softening structured interiors. Designed to harmonize with various styles, it offers multiple hanging options vertically and horizontally.
Marine Side Tables
Functional yet expressive, the Marine Side Tables echo the layered beauty of coastal terrain, creating movement and balance. Their rounded, wave-like forms add a relaxed rhythm to the room, inviting informal gathering and spontaneous use.
Coming in two heights that are alternately shaped, the pair can be nested together for a layered sculptural look. By spacing them apart, they can be styled individually. Whether placed beside a sofa, in a reading corner, or as sculptural pedestals, they bring playful character and tactile warmth to modern interiors.
New colourways
ecoBirdy introduces two new colourways in neutral tones with the Marine Collection: Stony Grey and Coffee Brown.Stony Grey has a smooth grey base with mixed coloured speckles obtained from recycled domestic household plastic. Inspired by the raw elegance of seashore rocks, with a refined twist, this colour offers a modern, textural finish with the subtle appearance of concrete.
Coffee Brown has a layered appearance characterised by fine speckles that are the result from mixing industrial and domestic waste. Rich and earth-inspired, this deep brown colour appears much like roasted gound coffee.
