The architectural office Capaul und Blumenthal from Ilanz has won the race for the conversion of the existing stable building on the lake. The winning project is called "Urezi" (storm) and convinced the jury at the time with its compact design and its construction made of the local materials wood and stone. The artificial bathing lake, which has been in existence since 1997, has become increasingly important within the Lugnez tourist offer and had to be redesigned due to the great popularity among bathers and holidaymakers. The terraced shores and barbecue areas are very popular in summer.

"The building is one of the first important projects of the new municipality of Lumnezia", writes Mayor Duri Blumenthal in the official invitation to break ground for the new company building at the idyllic Lugnez bathing lake Davos Munts. A building that will serve as a cloakroom, sleeping room and small catering area for bathers, as the heart of the building will be the "Ustrietta", which means "small restaurant". Above all, however, the building is designed to be functional, sustainable and appropriate to the landscape.
