The chair ‘Chassis’ from Wilkhahn is great product. It’s the world’s first mass-produced chair whose frame is made with advanced space-frame technology from the automotive world.

The chair comes in multiple frame colours and a selection of fabric- or leather or plastic seating choices. In total the chair comes in 121 variations!

The chair is merchandised via a pdf that shows photos of two variants of the chair: in black and in red. An added swatch-card shows the available options. It was up to the architects’ or customers’ imagination what the chair could look like.

We digitised the shape and the bespoke leather- and textile collection. We then created sets-of-4 images of each variation: from the front, side, back and a detail shot showing the engraved brand name. The price per ‘photo’ was, this way, unbeatably low.
