Case Study - Mevaco. How to show metal sheets online

MEVACO is Europe's leading supplier of metal facades, perforated sheets, crimped and welded meshes. All together these products compose a very wide collection. Like every modern company, Mevaco wishes to merchandise its collection online in a way that the pictures are self-explaining. This making it easier for their customers to meet a decision and consequently reducing the time- and money-consuming amount of sample requests.

The metal sheets are 3-dimensional and produce a different effect, depending on the angle you look at them. And this is precisely what the manufacturer wants to show this to their clients.

Architonic Digital Studio received physical samples of the sheets and created the following visual content for each product:
1. An interactive GIF that shows the product, rotating, in an autoplay video in loop
2. A detail shot of the product under 45 degrees to the left
3. A detail shot of the product from a 90 degree angle
4. A detail shot of the product under 45 degrees to the right
5. A ‘photo’ (rendered) of a plate of sheet, with the Mevaco brochure on it, which works as dimension reference.
6. A ‘photo’ (rendered) of the product, applied as facading on a building
