House on Lake Zurich

Storey-high glazing is combined with solid walls that continue to lead upwards into the landscape as supporting walls. The relationship between internal and external space, width and narrowness forms recurring themes in this design from the office of Vera Gloor Architektur.

air-lux façade: a total of seven air-lux sliding casement window panes up to 4.5 meters wide without glazing bars at a room height of 2.6 meters. Weight of the sliding casement window pane up to 1,000 kg, can be motor-driven.
