The terrace was love at first sight and the reason for purchasing the house, making it a central element in the development of the new apartment layout designed for a young couple.
The long living area faces the terrace and is divided into two separable zones: on one side, the living room, which can be transformed into a guest room with a door leading to the hallway, and on the other, the dining area with a custom-made kitchen, a defining feature of the space.
The kitchen unit is, in fact, the distributive focal point; it creates the entrance, separating it with a colorful wardrobe, and frames it with a storage portal.
The bathroom is a yellow box with small black accents.
Color is the protagonist of this home, with the apartment accessed through a midnight blue container from which the other rooms unfold, connected by a low colorful band that changes tone in each room. The kitchen, in contrast to the blue entrance, warms the space with its brick red.
This same design language is also taken outdoors, with colorful furnishings set on a black-and-white geometric floor.
Color has transformed this apartment, while some traces of its previous history remain: the original doors have had their handles and glass replaced with cannetted glass; the cast-iron radiators have been painted the same color as the band they belong to.
