Concetto
Come dice il nome stesso, Fl@t nasce da una sottile sagoma imbottita e flessibile, che viene curvata per formare una scocca e fissata tramite una ferramenta dedicata in acciaio, che funge allo stesso tempo anche da elemento decorativo.
La scocca risulta come “ sospesa” su un arco di alluminio verniciato nero, fissato ad una base nello stesso materiale. Questa scocca leggermente flessibile dona al prodotto un aspetto di estrema leggerezza ed offre un comfort di seduta ottimale.

Martin Ballendat
Germany
Martin Ballendat has enjoyed international success as a designer for decades. Born in Bochum, Germany, in 1958, he completed his studies in design at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. With his studio, Design Ballendat, he works for numerous prestigious brands. After three years of employment with office furniture manufacturer Sedus, he took over as head of design and product development at Wiesner Hager in Austria. He opened his own studio in Upper Austria in 1995, which was soon to be followed by a second one in Germany. Martin Ballendat has been awarded over 100 design prizes and awards. He has been working as a lecturer and guest professor at design schools for more than 15 years.
