To speed up the opening and closing of the Portofino umbrella, we have designed and patented a handle system, which, acting as a lever, allows a quick release of the collar in total safety, avoiding possible injuries to the hands, and also allowing you to control its closure.

The new spring slip system has been designed to reduce the wearing force of friction inside the pole, avoiding costly maintenance over the years. Instead, the anti-rotation lock allows you to block the collar, making the entire structure more resistant to bad weather and sudden winds. This model has a special windproof curvature, so its actual diameter may vary slightly.
