Product description

This woven polypropylene sheet has a high strength-to-weight ratio and high impact resistance. Unlike woven fibre reinforced composites consisting of more than one material, this product is fully recyclable and is more cost effective.

It is easy to work, in contrast to glass fibre reinforced materials that blunt tools, and can also be thermoformed. It has better impact resistance than glass fibre reinforced polymers (GRP) but strength and stiffness is not as good.

Supplied as a sheet material, it does not possess the same fabrication potential as traditional lay-up composites which are formed in a mould successively in layers.
