AYLA is a modern interpretation of the traditional wall hook. Inspired by vintage cast-iron hooks, the Belgian designer Baptiste Vandaele has created a contemporary solution that gets its appeal from its sleek, energetic design. “Our aim was to produce a modern-day interpretation of the hook and give its traditional charm a contemporary twist,” says Vandaele. “To do this, we focused on simplifying the different elements that make up a classic hook and optimising their forms while still maintaining their unique character.”
