The foldable stand up table named stand up is the only one whose design is so outstanding that it need not hide itself under a tablecloth, as the jury of the Architektur & Office innovation prize testified. The folding mechanism ensures ease of use and can also be released effortlessly by untrained staff. The convex curved three-legged underframe allows for very tight gaps when stacked away and minimise required storage space. The three-legged design results in high stability without becoming a tripping hazard. The table tops are made of Resopal and are therefore scratch-resistant, lightfast and resistant to cigarette burns. stand up received the iF Design Award in 2005 and is also the recipient of the Architektur & Office innovation prize.
