Nieto Light's founder-designer, Nieto Ramón has been showing a keen interest in design since his childhood, he often joined his mechanical engineer father at his workplace - first, out of curiosity, as an enthusiastic observer, and soon he tried himself in some smaller jobs. The creative curiosity and passion for innovation and design became the very essence of his professional future. This was the first time he realized the importance of the personal factors, relationships, and local experiences of the participants in a creative process. During his academic studies - at Budapest University of Technology and Economic and Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest - he quickly crystallized his interest in lighting technology, which was underpinned by a professional exhibition in Frankfurt in 2014. This field of interest has intertwined with the other most important factor of his life: the love of nature. Environmental awareness, sustainability as well as creating an ergonomic, close-to-nature feel space are the core elements of Nieto Light. He has a great passion for fishing, he thinks that its meditative feel and quiet observer process are similar to that of design - in his new luminaire collection, some hidden references can be discovered: the special pieces have been given fish species names in Latin. Nieto Light uses only LED light sources and high-quality professional parts designed in Europe for its innovative lamps. Personalizing it to the customer's ideas - with special techniques that are still rarely used in Hungary.
