Bubble Glass contains perfect grids of tiny bubbles and controlled bubble patterns within the glass. The Washington Post writes that Bubble Glass “conjures images of diaphanous circuit boards and translucent plaid.” The fabrication process involves fusing multiple layers of glass in a kiln. Potential applications include lighting, interior room dividers, privacy window and door panels, tabletops, vessels, & fine art. This material originated in the process of PadLAb’s 2004 Brazil architectural glass commission.
