Winglet CL is the name of the new cableless wall luminaire with the striking angled light surface. It provides cosy ambient and room lighting in any conceivable place without laborious planning and installation work. The battery-powered Winglet is fastened to the wall with a self-adhesive or screw-on magnetic bracket. A twist of the wrist is all it takes to remove the Winglet for charging and can then elegantly be placed in the optional “Basket Charger”, the Winglet multi-charging vessel. Equipped with a motion detection and ambient light sensor, the Winglet CL gives the user maximum ease of control. Various convenience modes permit individual setting to the user’s individual needs. For example, if required, the luminaire switches itself on when motion and darkness are detected and switches itself off again after a stepwise selectable period of time.

In a few years' time there will be battery-powered luminaires in many offices and apartments, and they will be just as commonplace as smartphones, laptops and tablets are today, says Dietrich F. Brennenstuhl, CEO of the Nimbus Group and amateur pilot. The Winglet CL is now the fourth member of the family of cableless luminaires from Nimbus. The new Winglet CL cableless wall luminaire perfectly complements the cableless Roxxane Leggera 101 CL reading luminaire, the cableless Roxxane Leggera 52 CL table luminaire and the Roxxane Fly CL.
