The combination of three materials—steel, wood, and leather—gives the MT BENCH an impressively beautiful and fine balance with its slender leg pieces and voluminous seating face. Carefully crossed and woven one by one into a waffle texture and attached to the wood frame, thick belts of leather give a rich expression to the seat face. The leather seat adds a warm and poised sensation to the design along with the gently rounded edges of the seat.

Modestly, but adeptly, the simple form accentuates the combination of materials. The MT BENCH has a high flexibility to blend into any space smoothly. MT TABLE（COFFEE TABLE）

MT series has now welcomed a coffee table as part of its new lineup.

While keeping the natural characteristics of solid wood, this MT LIVING TABLE has both a comfortable texture of carefully shaved gentle curves and an elegant form coming from a balanced mixture of softness and sharpness. With a sublime top board, and slender legs, the warmth of solid wood and the contrasting hard texture of metal―the design has opposite elements but keeps a balanced calm.

While leaving aside the excellence of the MT series, the unique size based on the traditional Japanese unit, shaku, contributes to its simplified but humble presence.

The height of the table, 210 millimeters (about 8 inches), reflects the spirit of “yukaza”, which is seen in Japanese culture and means “sitting on the floor”. It works as a living table, of course, but its graceful appearance inspires new “tokonoma (an alcove in a traditional Japanese living room)” and brings beautiful harmony to a relaxing space as a great supporter of your living, with its functionality and decorativeness.
