Sometimes even the language of design needs an alphabet. In
AVAR’s case, a double A provides support for a harmoniously
rounded solid wood panel. The construction of the marble feet,
each consisting of two elements, is reminiscent of overlying
layers of rock in the mountains.
Concetto
In our entire collection, AVAR is the name,
that most literally stands for a concrete design.
The name AVAR refers to a double A as the
support of a harmoniously rounded solid wood panel. In the construction of the
timelessly beautiful marble legs, two elements are intertwined. Here
not only the material has its origin in the Alps, but also the idea.
Because during a walk at the Lago d'Orta it was overlapping
rock layers that gave the impetus for this design.
