The Container Table New Antiques, designed by Marcel Wanders studio, is the ornamental sibling of the classic table. It brings the elegance of antique furniture into your home, but with a modern twist. Made from lightweight material, the table is easy to move around, but once it’s found its place and you fill up the foot with sand or pebbles, it’s all strength and stability. Concetto
A fancy new addition to the Container Table series, the New Antiques tables brings a touch of vintage charm to its growing family. For the first time in the Container Tables’ history antique patterns emerge to unite with new designs in a fresh embrace. The contemporary, minimalistic table tops meet the rounded, ornamental shapes of its feet creating the perfect fusion between the past and the present, the decorative and the functional. The Container Table New Antiques are available in many different combi ations of shapes, sizes and materials.

Additional: All container tops are compatible with the New Antiques container series.
Technical: The container table top range all attached to the container foot in the same way. The container concept is that sand or water can be added to the foot to give it strength and stability. Water must always be treated with an anti-algae additive to prevent the water from becoming stale. There are Hex-bolts on the underside of each table which align with equally spaced holes in the container foot.
Cleaning Instructions: Moooi recommends using a trusted household furniture polish or a regular household spray cleaner and a soft, non-abrasive cloth to create an even sheen. Always read the label of any cleaning products you wish to use on Moooi furniture.

Profile Marcel Wanders is a product and interior designer who drew international recognition for his Knotted Chair produced by Droog Design in 1996. His work is ubiquitous; designing for leading international companies such as Flos, Alessi, Puma, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, MAC Cosmetics, Cappellini, B&B Italia, Moroso and Target. Wanders also designs for architectural projects, such as the Kameha Grand hotel in Bonn, the Mondrian South Beach hotel in Miami and the Villa Moda store in Bahrain. In addition to running his studio, Wanders is co-founder and Artistic Director of the successful design label Moooi (2001). He exhibits widely and his work is included in such significant museum collections as MoMA New York, The Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, and the V&A Museum, London. Wanders has further published numerous books and is extensively profiled in the global media, appearing in such publications as the New York Times, Domus, The Financial Times and Wallpaper Magazine.
