Log Coffee Table

For his series of ‘Log’ tables, Roderick Vos found inspiration in the growth rings of trees. Whenever we see a mightly oak felled, its rings tell a story of times past, of rainy seasons and dry seasons, of natural wealth and poverty— they tell a story that spans generations. By using CNC milling, Roderick has enhanced the powerful nature of those stories, which are ‘illustrated’ by the wood’s characteristic variations in colour.
